Thua Thien Hue: The third VND 18 billion steel shell vessel launched

The steel shell fishing vessel with identification number of TTH.99996.TS owned by fisherman Tran Dung in Hai Tien village, Thuan An town (Phu Vang) was launched by the construction unit and departments on October 4, after nearly two and a half months of construction.

This is the third steel vessel of Phu Vang district as well as the province, which is newly built under the government Decree No.67. The vessel is designed to meet the requirements of class 1 vessel of Vietnamese Standards, operating safely in offshore water or 200 nautical miles from the coast.

It is invested with modern fishing machinery and equipment, with the fishing light attractor system for night fishing. The total investment of the vessel is over VND 18 billion, 95% of which comes from the loan of BIDV's branch in Thua Thien Hue with preferential interest rate according to Decree No.67, and 5% from the fishermen.
