Dr. Dinh Quy Lan speaks at the symposium

Attending the symposium were over 300 professors, medical doctors and scientists, leading experts in hepatobiliary in the country.

During the symposium, representatives presented 23 expert scientific reports. According to Dinh Quy Lan, PhD., Chairman of Vietnam Hepatobiliary Association, this symposium is an opportunity for professors, doctors and leading experts in hepatobiliary to exchange and share contents related to the prevention of viral hepatitis, the prevention of alcohol abuse, and effective internal and external medical treatments, contributing to the reduction of mortality. In addition, this symposium also contributes to researching to improve the quality of treatment, applying advanced methods to early detect hepatic cancer for surgery to cut the liver or use RFA to achieve the best results, creating all favorable conditions for liver transplant to meet the patient’s need of liver transplant.
