Prof. Cao Ngoc Thanh, Rector of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy exchanges information with  press agencies at the meeting

On November 16, for the first time, the university was given the Vietnam Talent Award (the highest prize in the field of medicine awarded in 2017) for the group of research projects “Researching the application of advanced technologies in women’s reproductive health care in order to improve population quality” led by Prof. Cao Ngoc Thanh, Rector of the university. Also in 2017, Assoc. Prof, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoai, Dean of Pharmacy department became one of the Vietnamese female scientists winning the L’Oreal – For Women in Science Award. The group of projects on Women's Reproductive Health Research (including many works) won the third Co Do (Ancient Capital) award for Science and Technology in 2017, granted by the provincial People’s Committee. The university’s other projects entering the 8th Thua Thien Hue Province Technology Innovation Contest in 2017 also won many high prizes.
