The “Ruot Hue” wins the third award at the Young Fine Arts Festival

At the Young Fine Arts Festival 2017 held from November 21 to December 5 at the Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (Ha Noi), Thua Thien Hue has 10 entries and is the locality which has a high number of entries, just after Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Among the entries, the “Ruot Hue” (lit. Hue’s guts) (by oil on canvas) of artist Vo Thanh Than wins the third award.

The Young Fine Arts Festival 2017 was held by Bureau of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition in collaboration with Vietnam Fine Arts Association, Vietnam University of Fine Arts. This is an activity held every 3 years in order to introduce new artworks, and new faces of young artists aged between 18 and 35.
