At the conference, the delegates discussed issues about improving efficiency in the excellent student selection examinations; reported on winning special subjects as well as learning from experience in the tasks of writing, marking and awarding subjects. The delegations were unanimous in the content and structure of the 2017 examination; exchanged experiences on cultivating excellent students and materials serving the cultivation for excellent students taking the national and international contests. The delegations discussed how to improve the quality of the national high school examination, setting up the bank of questions for the multiple choice tests, and appointing the head in charge of each exam.
On this occasion, the Organization Board awarded certificates of merit and rewarded excellent subjects, and presented over 80 million VND to pupils and students from remote areas of Thua Thien Hue province who had difficulties in the last flood.
