The exhibition is held at University of Arts, Hue University

The exhibition has displayed 40 artworks by cadres, lecturers, party members and students about Uncle Ho by the materials of oil-paint, acrylic, wood carving, computer graphics, sculpture and synthetic materials. The artists have shown the image of Ho Chi Minh with the spirit of a leader, the great human spirit, the ideal of national independence and the markings of his revolutionary life.

Assoc. Prof., Dr. Phan Thanh Binh, Rector of University of Arts said: "This is the first time the university has organized a very special exhibition, the university’s Party Committee expects that the cadres, lecturers, students and party members will have opportunities to approach, create and express their emotions, deeply in the ways of thinking about President Ho Chi Minh, so as to further understand the values of Ho Chi Minh's ideology​​ reflected in the views, responsibilities and developmental direction of Vietnamese fine arts in general and his interest in the training of new artist generations of the revolution in particular.”

The A prize is awarded to artist Nguyen Van Hoang

The organizers have considered awarding prizes to encourage cadres, lecturers and party members with artworks displayed in the exhibition. In particular, the A prize is awarded to "Portrait of Uncle Ho" (painted on the mirror) by artist Nguyen Van Hoang, the B prize is awarded to artist Le Dang Thong for his work of "Portrait of President Ho Chi Minh" (oil painting), and two C prizes are awarded for two works by Nguyen Vu Lan and Tran Thi Thanh Dung.
