60 leaders and representatives from provincial and district’s VFF, communes’ people’s committee and faith-based organizations paid enthusiastic attendance in the section.
The training, with presentations of seasoned experts in the fields, provided the participants with essential knowledge and skills on emergency response/aid procedure and management, and fundraising planning for emergency response and climate change resilience.
The training is part of a diverse activity program in the course of 2017 of the project “Strengthening the Faith-based Organization’s community responses to Climate Change” held by Ham Long Centre funded by Norwegian Church Aid and Bread for the World (Germany), lasting until 2019 and covering four cities/provinces of Vietnam.

In the closing remarks, Venerable Thich Phuoc Dien - Director of Ham Long Centre emphasized that the Centre’s activities are contributing to the implementation of guidance and policies of mobilizing social resources and consolidating the unity of religions in the mutual effort to cope with climate change.
