Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Cao authorized by the President to present the Independence Order to the Hue Ancient Capital Relics Preservation Center

At this conference, Mr. Nguyen Dung, Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee highly appreciated the Ancient Capital Relics Preservation Center’s efforts over the last year and congratulated on its achievements. At the same time, he emphasized: Provincial tourism has great expectation of the cultural heritage of Hue ancient Capital.

In 2017, despite the difficult general economic situation, the Hue Ancient Capital Relics Preservation Center still welcomed and catered for more than 3 million tourist arrivals to Hue monuments, reaching 122% of revenue, implemented many projects of preserving and repairing important monuments on schedule, and organized many effective service activities with high turnover. The honored award that the Hue Ancient Capital Relics Preservation Center won is the third class Independence Order conferred by President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.

Deputy Chairman Nguyen Dung requests that in 2018 the Ancient Capital Relics Preservation Center soon start the reconstruction of Kien Trung Temple, complete the research on the repair of Can Chanh Temple, and actively support tourism to create many effective tourism products which attract tourists’ interest.
