Participants in this annual event include Mr. Le Truong Luu, Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Cao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial Standing People's Committee, and the Provincial Standing Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of departments and more than 1,000 delegates representing the intelligentsia who are working in the province.
At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Cao voiced his appeal that the intellectuals, artists, and religious dignitaries continue to contribute their intelligence and endeavors to the goal of comprehensive and sustainable development of Thua Thien Hue province.
On the same day, the provincial leaders also met with the revolutionary elders and former key leaders of the province over the past periods. At the meeting, the revolutionary elders and former key leaders of the province expressed their joy and excitement over the achievements of the province in the past year, and highly appreciated the efforts of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, especially the key leaders’ promotion of the intellectual and solidarity strengths in administering the implementation of the tasks of socio- economic development and national defense and security consolidation of the locality.
