Attending the discussion were Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Bui Thanh Ha; Member of the provincial Standing Party Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the provincial Party Committee Doan Thi Thanh Huyen, and nearly 100 female cadres and union members.

At the discussion, the Provincial Women’s Union deployed the project “Supporting women to startup in the period of 2017 - 2025” in the provincial area which is approved by the Provincial People’s Committee. The delegates also participated in exchanging and sharing startup experiences with typical female businesswomen in the provincial area, getting employment consultancy and introduction by the leaders of relevant establishments and departments.

On occasion of the International Women's Day (March 8), Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Bui Thanh Ha presented flowers to the Provincial Women's Union.

On the afternoon of the same day, the Labor Confederation of Hue city held a meeting on occasion of the 108th anniversary of the International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 – March 8, 2018) and the 1978th anniversary of Hai Ba Trung uprising. The heads of the provincial Labor Confederation, the People’s Committee of Hue City, and the Labor Confederation of Hue city praised the active and creative contributions of the key cadres in completing missions over the last time, and at the same time encouraged them to keep on studying, improving professional skills.
