The nationwide Newspaper Festival 2018 took place from March 16 – 18 in Ha Noi, attracting 59 central press agencies and press training facilities; eight groups of Journalist Associations in cities and nine localities with private display stalls, with a total of 73 display stalls.

The award panel judged and awarded the prizes to winning units and individuals. Specifically, there were 55 prizes for beautiful Tet newspaper covers, in which the Thua Thien Hue Newspaper won the A prize and the Song Huong (Perfume River) Magazine won the C prize. Additionally, the organization board also awarded 58 prizes for impressive display stalls; 51 prizes for excellent reports on environment, climate change, disaster prevention, etc
