Ground-breaking ceremony of the Garden of Eden Park
Phase 1 of the Garden of Eden Park project has a total area of 26 hectares with a total investment of VND 200 billion. As planned, the project will be put into operation in the first quarter of 2019, including 23,487 cells in the cremated ash deposit area; 1,233 graves in the reburial area; and 7,991 graves in the burial site. The project will be expanded to 100 hectares, meeting the burial needs of people in the province. Apart from selling burial plots, providing services for funeral services, the project also invests in cremation services, reducing the pressure on the allocation of cemetery land fund in the locality.
Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Cao emphasized that the investment in the Garden of Eden Park is in accordance with the planning. It saves the land fund and develops spiritual tourism, aiming to build Thua Thien Hue into a civilized city.
