Experts exchange professional knowledge at the workshop on May 11
Leading experts in laparoscopic colorectal surgery in Asia-Pacific from Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam exchanged professional experience at the workshop, which was participated by nearly 60 specialized doctors in Thua Thien Hue and neighboring provinces.
Via special topics, the workshop provided useful information on the application of new methods and techniques in laparoscopic colorectal surgery in general, assisting in rapid diagnosis and timely treatment, avoiding complications and consequences in the course of treatment.
This is the 6th workshop the ELSA OutReach program of the Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia-Pacific has held in Vietnam for the past three years.
To date, the ELSA OutReach program has been implemented in 13 countries in the Asia-Pacific region with 57 workshops, training about 3,200 surgeons, 75 experts from 15 countries who teach from basic laparoscopic surgery to advanced laparoscopic surgery.
