On May 25, Hue University of Education organized the opening ceremony of the 5th International Conference on Language, Society, and Culture in Asian Context (LSCAC 2018). Mr. Nguyen Van Cao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the event.

The conference was co-organized by Hue University of Education, National University of Malang (Indonesia), University of Hyderabad (India) and University of Mahasarakham (Thailand). The conference attracted nearly 100 international delegates from 12 countries and regions, and more than 160 domestic participants, presenting more than 120 scientific reports.
The conference focused on social architecture of Asian countries, cultural and linguistic sectors, modern philosophical trends, education in Asia, supporting technologies for pedagogy, and climate change in Asia, etc.

This is an occasion to link the cooperation between national and international faculty members, scientists from universities and research organizations, and promote the development of science. At the same time, it is an opportunity to exchange and share research results and sign scientific cooperation agreements, such as exchange of lecturers and students; publication of scientific reports on international forums; fostering the cooperative relationship between educational institutions in the region and the world.
