Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirms that the Province’s leaders will go on providing more favorable opportunities to all the religions in general and to Buddhism in particular, for their religious healthy activities and stable development.
At the meeting, on behalf of the Buddhist monks and nuns in Thua thien Hue, Most Venerable Thich Duc Thanh congratulated Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho on his being elected as chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
In the past time, the whole Buddhist community in the province have always lived and acted exactly by the motto of the Buddhist Sangha in the spirit of unity, as well as promoted the great values of the history of Buddhism in Vietnam and the national traditions. Most Venerable Thich Duc Thanh wished Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho and his family good health, peace of heart, and success in all fields of work.
The new Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Phan Ngoc Tho, thanked the superior monk, and other Buddhist monks and nuns in the delegation of the provincial VBS Board for their visit and wishes, and showed his acknowledgement of the past meaningful contributions of the Buddhist monks to the promotion of the country’s development for the country’s ever more prosperity, of the people’s wealth and happiness, as well as to building of a peaceful and happy society in accordance with the traditional spirit of the Vietnamese people.
The new Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the provincial leaders would go on providing more favorable opportunities to all the religions in general and to Buddhism in particular, for their religious healthy activities and stable development; creating a stable environment for an ever increasing development of the religions. He hoped that all the religions in the country would always be the fellow passengers of the nation. He also showed his confirmation of the contribution of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha to the overall development of the province, which at the same time helps build up a prosperous and strong country, as well as a democratic, fair, and civilized society.
