Hence, the research area for planning which belongs to An Dong ward (Hue city) and Thuy Duong ward (Thuy Duong town) is about 22.86 hectares. Hue tourist market is a complex of commercial services, hotels, amusement parks and parks. Furthermore, there is a residential area which is adjacent to Nguyen Tat Thanh street (Huong Thuy town).
There are three main space clusters of the planning area including: the central core area is the green trees space, the lake, the park and the square; the commercial services area includes the varied function units arranged around the central core area to create the architectural space in harmony with the nature.
The tourist market works, floating market, duty-free stores, etc., are alternately arranged and linked by the internal traffic system and ensured firefighting when needed. The Southern residential area which is near the main entrance of the planning area and adjacent to Nguyen Tat Thanh street is planned to create the architectural landscape of the urban gateway area.
Additionally, the highlight of space as well as the architecture is the work of hotels, commercial buildings, offices and a 30-storey sightseeing tower in the Northern part of the planning area; the green parking lot is conveniently arranged to ensure the economic and technical factors.
