Colonel Lam Quang Minh, Head of the Hue Frontline Youth School Liaison Committee gives books on the school to the General Library of Thien Thien Hue province

The Hue Frontline Youth School was opened on July 2, 1945, and could run only one course in 2 months with 4 teachers and 43 students. Born and grown up in the revolution, the students of the school soon became aware of the national spirit and revolutionary enlightenment.

After 73 years, there are only four students left, old and weak. Only Colonel Lam Quang Minh, Head of the Hue Frontline Youth School Liaison Committee attended the celebration. On this occasion, Tri Thuc publishing house introduced its historical memoir book “General Cao Van Khanh” to readers. The book written by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Bao Van (born in 1962) writes about her father's life and career - Lieutenant General Cao Van Khanh, former Deputy Chief of Staff of the People's Army of Vietnam.

This 800-page book, consisting of 40 chapters, is divided into two sections: Before the Revolution and the Resistance to French colonialism, and the wedding in the cellar of De Castries. Ms. Bao Van has spent 10 years collecting materials to complete this book.
