Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mr. Nguyen Dung acknowledged the authorization of the Second-Class Labor Medal for two lecturers of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University

At the undergraduate level, with 23 disciplines and majors in formal and interdisciplinary education, the training scale for the academic year 2017 - 2018 is 10,220 students. The university has done a good job counseling for graduates. 95.2% of students have jobs immediately after graduation.

 In 2018, the number of new full-time students enrolled in the university is 1,299 students, many of which had a higher pass rate than the target, such as general medicine (104.3%), dentomaxillofacial (106.7%), pharmaceuticals (102.8%), traditional medicine (102%), medical laboratory techniques (110%), medical imaging techniques (111.7%).

In the school year 2018 - 2019, the university has set many tasks to improve the quality of education and continue to develop further.

At the opening ceremony, many collectives and individuals were awarded commendations by the President and the Ministry of Education and Training. Notably, People's Teacher Prof. Dr. Cao Ngoc Thanh, the university Rector and People’s Doctor Prof. Dr. Vo Tam, Vice Rector, were awarded the Second-Class Labor Medal.

Two other individuals of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University were awarded the Third-Class Labor Medal. They were Excellent doctor Tran Van Hoa, Head of the Pharmacy Department, Head of Testing - Quality Assurance Department and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truong An, Head of Department of Operative Surgery and Head of Department of Higher Education.

In addition, the Ministry of Education and Training awarded the Emulation Flag to the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University and 3 departments of the university.

On this occasion, the school awarded certificates of merit and prizes to the valedictorians. Many students were awarded scholarships by different units and businesses.
