According to the Provincial Business Association, in the first 9 months of 2018, the number of newly-established enterprises in the province is 492, up to 10% over the same period previously, with a total registered capital of 3,602 billion VND. The number of enterprises that have resumed operations is 137, 58 enterprises have been dissolved, 225 enterprises have been suspended, and 82 enterprises have been transformed into other types of operation.

Thua Thien Hue has attracted 25 investment projects with a total capital of more than 40,600 billion VND, of which there are 18 national projects with a total investment of 3,200 billion VND and 7 FDI projects with a total registered capital of 1.640 million USD.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Ngoc Tho acknowledged and praised the great contribution of enterprises and entrepreneurs to the development of the province.
