Mr. Lee Ga Rak – Chairman of Korean Traditional Craft Association said that, implementing the cooperation memorandum with Thua Thien Hue province in the beginning of March 2017 and approving traditional cooperative relations between Thua Thien Hue province and Korean localities, the association has done many welfare funding activities in the province and promoted traditional craft at Hue Festival 2018. The association desires to expand trade cooperation with Thua Thien Hue province; in which focusing on introducing and promoting export and import traditional goods of Korea and Thua Thien Hue province.
Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Ngoc Tho acclaimed the idea of expanding trade cooperation of the Korean Traditional Craft Association. In order to reach the long-term cooperation, the Chairman requested the association to carry out researches to formulate start-ups and introduce traditional handicraft products of Korea in Thua Thien Hue, especially at the Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2019. This space is not only a place to promote and exchange goods, but also a place to meet, exchange and perform production between traditional artisans of Korea and Thua Thien Hue; Thereby, creating the favorable conditions for the development and diversification of traditional handicraft products, meeting the need of the market for handicraft products and traditional souvenirs to for tourism, etc.
