University staffs and students of two units take commemorative photo at the opening ceremony

The Vietnam – Korea winter international volunteer program takes place from January 4 to 13. The highlights of this program are the following activities: cleaning the environment along Huong riversides; visiting and presenting gifts for children with disabilities in Thuy Bieu and orphan children in Duc Son pagoda; exchanging with Korean Language & Culture Department - Hue University College of Foreign Languages, Hue University; propagandizing the awareness of environmental protection in Thua Thien Hue provincial area, etc.

This is the eighth time that Hue College of Economics, Hue University welcomes the delegation of Chonbuk National University (Korea) to visit and exchange. Every year, Chonbuk National University (Korea) coordinates with Hue College of Economics, Hue University to organize a volunteer season in January with many meaningful activities such as entertainment activities for children, cultural – musical exchanges, etc. Thereby, strengthening the exchanges and friendly cooperation between two countries Vietnam and Korea in general and two universities in particular.

Kim Na Yeon – a student of Fashion Faculty, Chonbuk National University, Korea shared: “This is the first time I take part in a social volunteer program in Hue city, and I am really excited to discover and learn about cultural and historical relics of Hue Ancient Capital, as well as experience the beauty in customs and practices of local people. Students of Hue College of Economics, Hue University impress me most for their friendliness, loveliness and activeness. In the coming time, I hope that we will have memorable memories while doing volunteer activities together in Thua Thien Hue province”.
