The total area of the project is around 134 hectares, the total investment is over 2,107 billion VND, and the implementing time is 50 years counted from the day issuing the investment license.

The project scale includes three zones: zone S1 – a mid-end tourist area with an area of 56.5 hectares including 4-star hotel, 4-star resort apartments, bungalow, villas, swimming pool, gym, spa, restaurants, club house and service area. Zone S2 – a high-class tourist area (the area is around 47.5 hectares) including 5-star hotel, 5-star resort apartments, bungalow, villas, swimming pool, gym, spa, restaurants, club house and the area for international conferences, national and regional events. Zone S3 – an ecotourism area (the area is around 30 hectares) including bungalow, villas, swimming pool, gym, spa, restaurants, club house.

The project aims to build a high-class tourist area, which harmoniously and plentifully combines resort, ecotourism, sport visiting sites with modern, diversified and convenient services; combining tradition with wild natural landscape.

The phase 1 (zone S1) is expected to be built in September 2019; it will be completed and come into operation in January 2022; the second phase (zone S2 and S3) will be built in January 2022; and it will be completed and come into operation in June 2023.

With the advantages of having more than 128km of sea route and the largest lagoon system in Southeast Asia with an area of over 22.000 hectares, Thua Thien Hue province has determined that up to 2020, it has to strongly develop the marine and lagoon tourism in order to explore its natural strength, especially ecotourism, focusing on the Chan May – Lang Co area and the coastal area, as well as the area along Tam Giang – Cau Hai lagoon.

At present, in addition to the project of upholding Chan May port, Thua Thien Hue province has been implementing the investment in many other coastal projects at many other famous beaches such as in Tu Hien, Loc Binh, etc.
