26 posters are 26 messages about bombs and mines prevention
At the training course, officials from units and 30 volunteers from the College of Arts, Hue University learned about bombs and mines, and the value of 26 posters on display.
This is an activity within the framework of Mine Risk Education Project through community-based mural artwork. The activity was signed by Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hue University, Quang Tri Branch and Project RENEW, and accompanied by the College of Arts, Hue University.
In 2019, the Project will deploy 17 wall painting sessions, integrating with mine risk education. The paintings will contribute to increasing children and adults’ awareness of mine risks as well as maintaining and expanding the community reporting network in the locality, thereby helping to collect information, and supporting mine survey and clearance activities.
Project RENEW is a cooperation program between Quang Tri provincial government and international non-governmental organizations, which was founded in 2001. The Project’s missions are to restore the environment and overcome the consequences of war, with the focus on unexploded bombs clearance.
