Demonstration of decocting medicinal herbs
This is a unique "highlight" of Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2019, aimed to introduce the quintessence of Hue oriental medicine as well as recreating the image of the old royal physicians taking the pulse, and making up the prescriptions for visitors of the exhibition, following exactly the same order that the royal physicians examined and treated illnesses for the Kings, and mandarins, etc., in the past. Good physicians and pharmacists participating in the activity are physicians Le Huu Mach, Phan Tan To, Ngo Quy Thich, and Ton That Thong; and doctors of Thua Thien Hue Traditional Medicine Hospital.
Thereby, visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the history of Hue oriental medicine; and experience with good, reputable and experienced physicians via preparing the medicine, taking the pulse, examining illnesses, making up the prescriptions, as well as providing good and precious remedies for treatment, etc.
At "Hue Oriental Medicine Space", the oriental medicines, which are highly appreciated for their quality on the market, such as Minh Mang wine and Minh Mang prescription, royal tea and wine, and traditional medicine remedies, etc., are also displayed so as to introduce and honor the quintessential value of Hue oriental medicine.
"Hue Oriental Medicine Space" will be closed on May 2.
