Gift bags made of newspaper by the Youth Union of Phu Hoa ward, Hue city

The Contest receives applications from now until August 5th, 2019. Application documents should be sent to the following address: Department of Natural Resources and Environment, No. 115 Nguyen Hue Str., Hue City.

The contest aims to search for environmentally friendly initiatives and models, alternatives for disposable plastic products and non-biodegradable plastic bags..., especially, to reduce disposable plastic products and non-biodegradable plastic bags in accordance with the economic and technical conditions of Thua Thien Hue province.

At the same time, it aims to commend and acknowledge the merits of organizations and individuals who have innovative ideas and excellent models to solve waste reduction issues in the community.

Contest fields include environment-friendly products, alternatives for disposable plastic and non-biodegradable plastic bags, Initiatives and model of waste and wastewater collection, recycling and treatment, Applications of information technology in management and supervision of environmental protection activities.

Contestants comprises authors or co-authors who are Vietnamese citizens, Vietnamese residing overseas, foreigners who are laboring, studying and working in Vietnam with initiatives and models applied in the province also have the right to participate in the contest as individuals. Each individual and organization can participate in the contest with more than one solution and initiative.

The closing ceremony and awarding ceremony of the Contest will be organized on the occasion of “Make the World cleaner” Campaign in the third week of September 2019.

The Contest regulations are posted on the website of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment at http://stnmt.thuathienhue.gov.vn, and on newspapers, media, radio and television channels of Thua Thien Hue province.
