In the cozy and poetic space of Hue Chamber Music, artisans and artists performed sweet and deep melodies of classical Hue Singing for the audience, including: Tu dai canh, Lien hoan Binh ban, Co ban… Apart from veteran artists, there appeared in the program the performance of young artists and even amateur singers from the audience; especially, Tam Van group from Quang Nam province.
With the desire to bring official Hue Singing closer to the audience, Hue Chamber Music space was founded 6 years ago at Hue Cultural Museum to serve local people and visitors for free.
In this anniversary, Vo Que, the poet, Chairman of Hue Singing club, expressed his joys as Hue artisans and artists have devoted themselves to preserve and promote the traditional cultural and artistic values of the homeland with all their voluntary spirit, responsibility and love for Hue.
In the past 6 years, Hue Chamber Music space has introduced great pieces of music of Hue Singing. At this space, some composers have also written new lyrics not only to enrich the contents of Hue folk songs, but also to lively reflect the contemporary life of the homeland.
