With more than 70 images, documents and artworks, the exhibition introduces to the public of the capital city the paintings and sculptures of the artist Le Ba Dang, anti-war paintings collected by the artist and 30 photos and documents about him. Among which, there are collections of the "Victory of Dien Bien Phu", "Consequences of war", the legendary road "Ho Chi Minh Trail", and sculptures made from the wreck of the American B52 aircraft...

Ms. Dinh Thi Hoai Trai, Director of Hue Museum of Fine Arts said the exhibition "The Aspiration for Peace in the Art of Le Ba Dang" helps viewers feel the consequences of the war as well as the resilient fighting spirit and peace aspiration of the Vietnamese people. At the same time, the public will have a better understanding of the aspirations, passion and dedication for the art of the late painter Le Ba Dang as well as the heart of an expatriate who always yearned for his homeland. 

The exhibition takes place until October 15.
