According to a source from Galaxy Media and Entertainment, "Dreamy Eyes" has reached the revenue of 150 billion VND as of January 5, 2020 after 18 days of release. Currently, "Dreamy eyes" is ranked fourth in the list of the most popular Vietnamese movies of all time, after "Furie", "Win My Baby Back" and "Jailbait".
Sharing with the audience and the press, Victor Vu said that he was very touched to know that there were Hue young people watching the movie for the second or third time. "Since the movie was released, the cast and crew really wanted to return to Hue and there will be more stories after "Dreamy eyes". Thank you so much for your interest and support in this movie,” he said.
Welcoming the crew members at the headquarters of the provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Thien Dinh thanked the cast and crew for widely promoting the beauty of Hue. According to Vice Chairman Phan Thien Dinh, from "Dreamy eyes", the province will have an orientation in the direction of investing, restoring Bao Vinh ancient town as well as creating favorable conditions for film crews to choose Hue as a filming set. Previously, the Department of Tourism, travel agencies, local leaders had worked, surveyed and connected tour routes and promoted many destinations seen in the film.
In addition to Dreamy eyes, in 2019 Hue became the main backdrop of two other films coming out in theaters soon. In 2021, the 22nd Film Festival will be held in Hue. This will be an opportunity for the promotion of Hue image through movies in the coming time.
