One of the international delegations from Korea visited the Royal Palace early in the morning of the First day of the Tet holiday

With a policy of free entrance for Vietnamese visitors in the first 3 days of the Tet holiday, visiting sights of the Hue Monuments Complex were always attractive destinations and attracted tens of thousands of visitors to enjoy the Spring.

In order to meet visitors’ needs for recreations, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized many cultural and artistic activities associated with the values of Hue royal cultural heritages, including the change of guards, royal games, Court Music performance, unicorn-lion-dragon dance, traditional martial arts performance, royal music performance... These activities have attracted a lot of visitors to interact.

Three generations played tou-hu (pitch-pot)

Mr. Hoang Canh Phung (from Ho Chi Minh City) sat and rested in the backyard of Thai Hoa palace, and waited until 10 o'clock to see the royal games. Mr. Phung is a son-in-law of Hue land.

He said that, every time he came back to his wife’s family for Tet holiday, he would visit the Royal Palace. “Visiting the Royal Palace on this occasion, my whole family not only gets free entrance, but the children also have many games to play and many beautiful flowers to take pictures. This scene is not easy to have on a normal day,” said Mr. Phung.
