The map in the geography book shows that the Chinese territory and territorial waters to the south stop at Hainan Island and do not include Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos

The 13x18cm-sized book has 68 sheets of double-sided Mandarin Chinese characters, including many geographic contents and 40 attached maps, of which the most noticeable is the number 38 map which records the southernmost point of Chinese territory being Hainan Island (see the map which clearly states "Hainan Island"). There is absolutely no record of the two archipelagos of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa.

This is the geography book which was written and published by the Chinese and was officially used in Chinese schools. This is a convincing document to prove that China has no claim of sovereignty over the Paracel and Spratly Islands. .
