Dong Ba Cinema is the place where the film week takes place to celebrate President Ho Chi Minh's birthday anniversary
Taking place from May 19 to May 26, the film week will introduce to the audience 5 documentary films, including Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh, Truong Son Co Nhung Co Bo Doi Lai Xe (Female Drivers in Truong Son Range), Chim Sat Ngay Xua (Aircraft in the Past), Bac Ho Voi Nong Dan (Uncle Ho with Farmers), Dat Goi (The Call from the Land) and 4 feature films, including Thau Chin O Xiem (Thau Chin in Siam), Trang Dai Ngan (The Moon in the Forest), Dong Song Khat Vong (The River of Desire), Ngoi Nha Yeu Thuong (The Loving House). These are unique and highly educational films licensed to produce by the Cinema Department of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The film week aims to propagate about President Ho Chi Minh's biography, life, and revolutionary career; to honor his great contributions to the revolutionary of the Party and the people of Vietnam; and to the educate about historical traditions, revolution, love for the homeland and the country.
The above films will be screened at Dong Ba Cinema and mobile movie venues in remote areas of A Luoi, Nam Dong, Phu Vang, Phong Dien and Quang Dien districts.
After the opening program, the Culture and Cinema Center introduced to the audience two films, namely "Thau Chin in Siam" and "Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh".
