According to the Organizing Board, in the context that international trade has not returned to normal status due to the impact of COVID-19, it is difficult for the Spanish art delegation to be performed at the Hue Festival 2020 as planned. Even so, the Embassy of Spain still wishes to participate in this important cultural event, by sending guitarist Vu Hien to represent Spain joining Hue Festival 2020.
Born in 1983, Vu Hien is a guitarist as well as a composer in Hanoi, Vietnam. He is considered the "Fire keeper" for classical guitar in Hanoi, and being recognized as a pioneer to revitalize the guitar movement in the capital. He has organized many concerts in Vietnam. In addition, he has also toured and been a judge in many international competitions in countries such as Thailand, Spain, Indonesia ...
At Hue Festival 2020, Vu Hien will perform works of Spanish composers in the 19th century to the public and visitors.
