UPM evaluates the universities performance through 54 indicators across eight categories; each indicator has its own benchmark and weight, with an overall score of 1,000. The actual scores for each indicator and category are ranked in the benchmark and rated ranging from one to five-star, providing the identification for the whole institution, being able to use to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of each activity and sector of higher education institutions.
