Delegates visiting the booths at the fair
Taking place from November 20 to 22, the Food Safety Week 2020 is one of the important series of trade promotion events. As the world is facing the COVID-19 pandemic, the import and export of agricultural, forestry and fishery products encounter difficulties, the fair is aimed at connecting supply and demand under the value chains of agricultural products among localities, enterprises, and cooperatives to the supermarkets, provinces, and cities in the Central region, the Central Highlands, and Southern provinces.
With 30 booths from nearly ten provinces and cities across the country, the fair provides agricultural products, consumer goods, and foodstuffs such as Jasmine rice, honey, exported coffee, cascara tea, pepper, and Ophiocordyceps Sinensis mushroom, etc. The fair creates an opportunity for the production enterprises and cooperatives to directly do trade with the establishments and enterprises purchasing, processing and trading in agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the locality and throughout the country. At the same time, it supports the localities, enterprises and cooperatives to resume their production and development within the domestic market.
On this occasion, the Trade Promotion Center announced the results and awarded prizes of the Agricultural Products Contest; of which, the tea bag product of Quang Tho 2 Cooperative (Quang Dien) won the first prize.
