Over the years, Hue University has signed cooperation agreements with 12 universities, institutes and training centers of the French Republic. The member universities of Hue University have deployed bilateral cooperation and implemented effectively many projects with their French partners.

Currently, a number of activities have been implemented at Hue University with the support of AUF such as startup projects at Hue University, mixed training projects, BNEUF digital library, and so on. Hue University has also proactively participated in other activities implemented by AUF.

Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Quang Linh, President of Hue University, showed his deep appreciation and gratitude for the effective cooperation from OIF and AUF. At the same time, the President also expressed his wish to continue to tighten cooperation, restore the French language space and develop a number of French-Vietnamese bilingual majors for students at Hue University in the future, as well as to strengthen bilateral cooperation on scientific research, technology transfer, etc.

Mr. Jean Marc Lavest, Director of the Francophone University Association and Mr. Chékou Oussouman, Director of the International Francophone Institute in Asia-Pacific, appraised Hue University as a dynamic university, and asserted that the development direction into a National University would brings about many positive outcomes. At the same time, they affirmed their willingness to tighten cooperation with Hue University, not only in the field of innovative start-ups but also in training, scholarship opportunities, job search support for students, etc.

Also on 15th December, the awarding ceremony of the emergency aid scholarships of the Francophone University Association (AUF) for students of Hue University took place at Hue University.

On this occasion, 45 students pursuing French-related disciplines at Hue University, together with those living in in difficult circumstances and suffering many losses caused by recent natural disasters were awarded the scholarship. Each scholarship is worth 3 million dong.

In addition, the International Francophone Association also donated French books to students at Hue University.
