“Corporate governance in times of crisis”

At the program, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietravel, the speaker, shared the topic on "Corporate governance in times of crisis" to enterprise community in Hue; thereby, helping the enterprises set up their own suitable strategies and policies, and at the same time coming up with practical solutions to help them develop further after the crisis.

Mr. Duong Tuan Anh, Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, said that in 2023, global economic activities slowed down, with inflation higher than seen in several decades, the cost-of-living crisis, tightening monetary policy in most regions, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, as well as the protracted COVID-19 pandemic, were weighing heavily on the world economic outlook.

In that volatile economic context, many enterprises in the province are facing many difficulties, and whether large or small, they will also directly affect the existence and operation of enterprises. Without specific strategies and clear action plans, the enterprises will face many difficulties, and even the risk of falling into bankruptcy… Therefore, the Provincial Business Association and the Provincial Department of Planning and Investment have coordinated to organize the Entrepreneur Cafe program themed "Corporate governance in times of crisis", with the desire to help the enterprises gain more knowledge and experience to overcome current difficulties and challenges, so as to build stable and steadily growing enterprises.
