Activities for the 30th anniversary of the Complex of Hue Monuments recognized as world heritages by UNESCO

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Hue Monuments Complex and 20 years of Hue Royal Court Music - Nha Nhac recognized as world heritages by the UNESCO, the Provincial People's Committee will organize a series of national and international cultural and tourism events throughout the Hue Four Seasons Festival 2023 to honor Hue's cultural heritage and Vietnamese culture.

Accordingly, from June 16th to 18th, the following activities will take place: the Vietnam’s landscape exhibition on the Nine Dynastic Urns; the exhibition of royal performance heritage and painting inspiration; the exhibition “The Capital’s 20 most striking landscapes and Poems of Emperor Thieu Tri” through traditional Taiwanese calligraphy; the celebration program and the art program themed “Ancient Capital Heritage, Transmission and Convergence”…

Delegation of Thua Thien Hue province attended the 46th Session of UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee

From July 20 to 26, at Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition-cum-convention centre (IECC) in New Delhi, India, a delegation of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province, led by Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh, attended the programs within the framework of the session, according to the invitation from the Director of the UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee and Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO. Summer activities and the Month of action for children in 2024 launched

UNESCO recognizes Hue's fourth documentary heritage

With unique and significant values in terms of form and informational content, "The Engravings on the Nine Dynastic Urns of Hue Imperial Citadel" was recognized by UNESCO as a Documentary Heritage in the Asia-Pacific region's Memory of the World Program on May 8th. This marks Hue's fourth UNESCO-listed documentary heritage.
