The exhibition space has attracted a large number of monks, nuns, Buddhists and visitors
These ceramic artifacts are being displayed in an exhibition with the theme of "Imprints of Buddhist art on Bat Trang ceramics". The event has just been opened by the provincial Organizing Board of Buddha's 2566th birthday on the afternoon of May 8, at Lieu Quan Buddhist Cultural Center, Hue (located on Le Loi Street, Hue City).
Right after the ribbon cutting ceremony to open the exhibition, a large number of monks, nuns, Buddhists, guests and visitors have come to visit. Each Bat Trang ceramic work is skillfully made by artisans from this ceramic region, and adapted from the original with historical, cultural, and artistic valuesof Buddhism, etc. Among these ceramic works are the statues of Buddha, Bodhisattva, Arhat, Patriarch, as well as the dharma tools for worship, glazed terracotta jars, vases, plates, transparent porcelain lamps, lotus flowers, and paintings of herding buffaloes.
This activity is part of a series of events during the week of Vesak Celebrations in 2022, taking place from now until May 15. Through the exhibition, the Organizing Board hopes that visitors will understand the Buddha's teachings via languages of the artifacts.
