1,000 gifts given to union members and workers

TTH.VN - On the morning of November 11, the Trade Union of the Economic, Industrial Zone of the province held a gift-giving point for union members and workers in Phu Bai Industrial Park (Huong Thuy).

The Trade Union of the Economic, Industrial Zone of the province giving gifts to union members and workers facing difficulties due to storm and flood

In order to support the union members and workers facing difficulties due to damages in storm and flood, the program has given 1,000 gifts including necessities and items needed, such as: rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, fish sauce, monosodium glutamate, mosquito nets, clothes, and school supplies, etc., 300 free motorbike oil change vouchers, and consultancy on reproductive health and family planning for workers.

The representative of SGH Investment Joint Stock Company has also presented 100 gifts out of 300 gifts allocated to workers in Phu Bai Industrial Park. In addition, the program has also organized “Zero-VND Stalls”, providing many optional products including textbooks, and clothes.

These gifts are from the support of organizations, businesses, and individuals inside and outside the province, contributing to helping the union members and workers overcome immediate difficulties and stabilize their lives soon.

On this occasion, the grassroots trade unions under the Trade Union of the Economic, Industrial Zone of the province have also raised VND 32.5 million to support families of the workers in distress in the Rao Trang 3 hydropower project.
