The highest admission benchmark score of Hue University in 2024 is 24 points

TTH.VN - On July 23, Hue University's Admission Council announced the minimum quality assurance thresholds (benchmark scores) for admission to full-time undergraduate programs at its member universities and faculties, using the results of the 2024 National High School Graduation Examination.

The university with the highest benchmark score within Hue University is the University of Education. Specifically, the benchmark scores for the three programs of Chemistry Education, Biology Education, and Physics Education taught with English as a medium of instruction (EMI) are all 24 points. The remaining programs have a benchmark score of 19.5 points. The two programs with the lowest benchmark scores are Educational Psychology and Information Systems, at 17 and 15 points, respectively.

The next university with a high benchmark score is the University of Medicine and Pharmacy. The highest benchmark scores for the Medicine and Dentistry programs are both 22.05 points. The benchmark scores for the Pharmacy and Traditional Medicine programs are both 21 points. The remaining programs have benchmark scores ranging from 15 to 19 points.

At the University of Economics, the benchmark scores range from 16 to 21 points depending on the program. The two programs with the highest benchmark scores are Marketing and Electronic Commerce, at 21 and 20 points, respectively.

At the University of Foreign Languages, the programs with the highest benchmark scores are English Language Education, French Language Education, and Chinese Language Education, all at 19 points. The remaining programs have benchmark scores ranging from 14 to 15 points.

At the University of Law, the benchmark scores for the Economic Law and Law programs are both 16 points. At the University of Sciences and the University of Agriculture and Forestry, the benchmark scores range from 15 to 16 points for all programs.

The University of Fine Arts and the Faculty of Physical Education have benchmark scores of 18 points. At the School of Hospitality and Tourism, the Tourism and Hotel Management program has the highest benchmark score of 20 points. The remaining programs have a benchmark score of 17 points.

For the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, the benchmark scores range from 15.2 to 17.2 points. For the International Faculty, the highest benchmark score is for the Multimedia Communication program, at 20 points. The remaining programs have benchmark scores ranging from 17 to 19 points. The Quang Tri Branch of Hue University has a uniform benchmark score of 15 points.

Hue University's Admission Council notes that the determination of the minimum quality assurance thresholds for admission using the results of three subjects/exams is the sum of the three subjects/exams (scored on a scale of 10), plus regional and subject-specific priority points.

The condition for admission to programs at the University of Fine Arts, the Faculty of Physical Education, and the Architecture program at the University of Sciences is that the scores of the aptitude subjects must be greater than or equal to 5 points before the multiplier is applied. The condition for admission to the English Language Education, English Language, and International Studies programs at the University of Foreign Languages is that the English subject score must be greater than or equal to 5 points before the multiplier is applied.

The English language proficiency requirement for the EMI programs (talent bachelor programs) at the University of Economics is an English certificate (valid until the date of application) equivalent to IELTS 5.0 or higher, or an average English score of 8 points or higher for three years of high school.

The condition for admission to the EMI programs at the University of Education is that students must have an English language proficiency level of at least 6.5 points in the first semester of 12th grade, level 2 in the Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam, or equivalent certificates.
