| Under the authorization of the National President, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho awarded the Second - Class Labor Medal to the University of Education, Hue University |
The University of Education, Hue University currently has 353 officials and employees; of which, there are 208 lecturers (2 professors, 37 associate professors, 101 doctors, 66 masters, and 2 bachelors). The proportion of lecturers with doctoral degrees is over 67 percent, while the proportion of lecturers with postgraduate degrees is over 99 percent.
In the academic year of 2022 - 2023, the lecturers at the University of Education, Hue University have increased the number of internationally published articles in the Wos/Scopus category up to 138 articles, marking an increase of 4 articles compared to the previous academic year. Currently, the university is implementing 138 science and technology theses at all levels; of which, there are 9 theses at national level; 8 theses at ministerial level, 26 theses at Hue University level, and 5 strong research groups at Hue University level.
In recent times, the university has organized many large and prestigious science and technology events such as the 29th National Mathematical Olympiad; the first International Symposium on Happy Schools with the theme "Can you learn the skills to create happiness?"; the International School on Computational Commutative Algebra 2023 (COCOA); the national scientific conference of young researchers in 2022; and the 3rd international scientific conference on culture and education in 2022 (ICCE 2022), with the theme “Franco-Vietnamese-Japanese cultural and educational exchanges: history and evolution”; etc.
The university’s international cooperation activities have also been vibrant in the recent times. It has expanded the cooperation with many international universities and organizations, including signing memoranda of understanding and implementing cooperative activities with the National Taipei University of Education, Muban Chombueng Rajabhat University (Thailand); deploying joint doctoral training programme with Southwest University (China); joint master training programme with Chiao Tung University (Taiwan); and the INSA Engineer training program (France); many lecturers have exchanged science, researched and studied at international universities and scientific organizations; and many prestigious scientists and educators from around the world have come to work, teach, train and exchange science...

With these achievements, at the ceremony, under the authorization of the National President, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho awarded the Second - Class Labor Medal, awarded by the President, to the University of Education, Hue University. This is the second Second - Class Labor Medal awarded to the University of Education, Hue University.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Acting Rector of the University of Education, Hue University, said that those results and recognition were thanks to the efforts of the university at a whole, as well as the previous generations, the students, the support of external units, and another important factor called "Hue Pedagogical identity". This is the root and premise for the university to move forward and reach out, creating a place of liberal and integrated education.
Also at the ceremony, the Center for Accreditation Education, Vietnam National University, Hanoi awarded the certificates of accreditation to 5 training programs of the University, including: History Pedagogy, Biology Pedagogy, Informatics Pedagogy, Physics Pedagogy, and Educational Psychology.
