AMM achieves many important results
TTH.VN - On November 9, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh and Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh co-chaired a press conference to announce the results of the 29th APEC Ministerial Meeting (AMM).

After the discussion process, AMM came to a consensus and achieved significant results. AMM ministers adopted a number of practical issues within the APEC strategic framework, multi-year action plan on food security, action plan on rural development, agreement on directional documentation with many practical documents, narrowing and ensuring inclusive economies, cooperating in education and supporting all social classes, the need to maintain new cooperation orientation after 2020 and in the future.
At AMM’s sessions over the past two days, ministers showed their determination, spirit and direction so as to ensure trade globalization in the Asia-Pacific region.

Answering the questions of domestic and international journalists, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh said that the adoption of four initiatives within the APEC strategic framework was the favorable condition to submit to the high-level conference; at the same time, ministers also agreed on APEC development orientation documents to be submitted to the high-level conference for consideration in the next few days.
Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh said that TPP countries were continuing their efforts to maintain TPP as a high-quality agreement, ensuring the interests of member countries so as to continue to bring common interests via trade liberalization.
