The peaceful scenery in Bai Bang, Phu Hai hamlet, Loc Vinh commune
With a favorable geographical location and being endowed by nature, this place is the favorite tourist destination of many people. In the last two years, Canh Duong and Binh An beaches have attracted around 16.300 tourist arrivals on average.
Loc Vinh commune adjoins to Chan May Bay, and it is protected by the Eastern Chan May cape, creating the airtight and waveless watery area. Hence, the Chan May deep-water port usually receives a large number of vessels that come to anchor.
This marine area also brings seafood resources to feed hundreds of fisher households doing seine fishing, câu kiều fishing (câu kiều: a special kind of nets), squid fishing, and fishing by setting net at the bottom, etc.
Let’s contemplate the lifestyle in Chan May together with Thua Thien Hue Online through the flying cam photo series taken by two photographers Thanh Toan and Minh Tue:

In recent years, Chan May port has usually welcomed the luxurious cruises
Seining at Binh An Sea at midday. This occupation is suitable for those who are leisure after harvest time, and it requires less investment in fishing equipment.

Gion Mountain is next to Chan May Bay, it lasts around 6km long running in the East-West direction. This area covers many valuable aquatic resources, especially seed lobsters.

There are 750 households with more than 2.000 people working in the fishery field in this area (including directly carrying out deep-sea fishing and other occupations making money from marine resources). In this photo, the fishers are stitching the net used for fishing by blinds.
Setting net at the bottom, a traditional fishery of local people. The seafood resources usually are squids, deep-sea shrimps, pomfrets, and herrings, etc.
Thanks to the synchronous investment in infrastructure and services, there are more and more tourists coming to the beaches

Groups carrying out team-building activities at night on the beach
In April 2019, Canh Duong beach welcomed 2.800 members of FPT Group’s subsidiary company coming to go camping and hold commemorative activities during 2 days 1 night. So far, this was the record number of tourists gathering on the beach.
