Within the framework of Hue International Art Festival Week 2024, on the afternoon of June 6, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with People's Artist Tran Do organized the opening of the exhibition "Dragon Symbol through Tran Do’s Pottery. The exhibition is displayed in the ancient, splendid space of Kien Trung Palace in Hue Imperial Citadel.

Each person and family reminisce about old times when apricot color shone in front of the Citadel. The Yellow Apricot - Hoang Mai flower is a symbol of spring, family reunion, harmony between heaven and earth, and the nation. The Cay Mai ceramics (of an ancient pottery line) has long been appreciated for its meticulousness and sophistication. The products of this pottery line have still been present in the imperial Citadel and the royal residences in Hue, attracting the attention of lovers.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Cat 2023, Hue Monuments Conservation Center organizes various cultural and artistic activities at Hue Imperial Citadel to introduce to visitors the special and unique features of the Ancient Capital’s culture on the old days and create vibrant atmosphere for the heritage area.

With an aim to bringing exciting experiences for tourists visiting Hue Ancient Citadel, from January 5, Hue Monuments Conservation Center opens the tour enjoying tea combined with visiting Hue Ancient Citadel.

Just a stone’s throw from the Citadel, the Gia Hoi old quarter used to be one of the busiest areas of Hue ancient capital in early 19th century. This invaluable heritage is being ruined day by day with time while how to conserve and promote it is still a big question.

The hot air balloon festival “Hue Ancient Capital seen from the sky” in the series of events of Hue Festival Week 2022 has just been opened on the morning of June 25 at Ham Nghi yard, opposite Quoc Tu Giam, inside the Hue Citadel.

Young artist Tran Ngoc Sy has offered classes of experimental painting for Hue young people with painting activities across places from Thuan An and Hai Duong beaches, Cha mangroves, Vong Canh hill, to the Citadel and ancient pagodas.
