On May 19th, the People's Committee of Phu Loc District organized a conference to promote and attract investment in tourism in 2023.

On the morning of May 19, the Provincial Committee on Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue coordinated with the Institute for Social and Environment Transition – International (ISET-International) – Plan International Office in Switzerland held a national workshop on the project of building up resilience to flood for the community in Thua Thien Hue province.

Within the framework of Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023, the Japanese ceramic exhibition “Yakishime - Shape of the Earth” offers visitors a unique perspective on the craft of the land of Fusang. The exhibition is held by the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam in collaboration with Hue Museum of Fine Arts. The exhibition is opened from April 27th to May 14th at the Diem Phung Thi Art Center.

After Hue craft festival 2023 being organized for eight days, on the morning of May 5, the People's Committee of Hue City held a closing ceremony of a contest for voting the typical products at Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2023, and announced the winning products.

On the morning of May 2, representative of Green – Smart – Mobility Joint Stock Company (The GMB) informed that they would provide its taxi service with 250 electric taxies in Thua Thien Hue this May.
