A Luoi, a mountainous area in Thua Thien Hue, with its majestic landscape looks so peaceful, poetic, and impressive in the sketches by the artists.

Though that was already the third time, the project of “Sketching Hue Ancient Imperial Capital heritage” still attracted many artists. Every place they visited inspired them. So far more than 600 drawings had come into being, contributing to spreading and promoting the beauty of the heritage of Hue culture.

Hundreds of sketch and poetic works about the beauty of the Ancient Capital heritage have brought visitors from one emotion to another in an exhibition, which was launched by Hue Museum of Fine Arts on the afternoon of June 23, at the Le Ba Dang Art Center (on Le Loi Street, Hue City).

“The Journey on sketching Hue heritages 2022” was an activity opened by Hue Museum of Fine Arts in collaboration with the Writer’s Association, the Provincial Fine Arts Association, and Ha Noi Urban Sketching Group on the afternoon of March 18.

From December 17th to 24th, Hue Museum of Fine Arts will participate in the exhibition "Vietnamese cultural heritages, landscapes and traditional handicrafts" to celebrate the national tourism year 2021 held in Hoa Lu district of Ninh Binh province.

Through the sketches and distillation of sketch art, the scenic spots of Hue become vivid and delicate.
