On the evening of July 13, the award ceremony of the 35th International Biology Olympiad (IBO) took place in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In this Olympiad, Ho Duc Trung, a 12th-grade Biology student, Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted clinched a silver medal.

On the afternoon of July 27, the Provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to commend and reward student who won silver medal at the International Biology Olympiad in 2022.

Having won many high prizes in provincial and national competitions, Truong Van Quoc Dat, a 12th grader at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted (Hue City), has just won a silver medal at the 33rd International Biology Olympiad in 2022, held in Yerevan city, Armenia with the participation of 231 contestants from 63 countries and territories.
