In celebration of World Diabetes Day on November 14th, the Youth Union of Hue Central Hospital, in collaboration with the Young Physicians Association of Thua Thien Hue Province, organized a program to offer free diabetes screenings for residents throughout the province.

On September 16, the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Innovative Startup Competition 2024 held the semi-final judging round, following the preliminary screening of submitted applications.

On August 17th, the Provincial Dental Hospital, in coordination with Operation Smile Vietnam, conducted screening exams for children with abnormalities. This activity is part of the annual Operation Smile surgery program held in Thua Thien Hue.

The Diamond Status is a prestigious award from the World Stroke Organization that Hue Central Hospital has been awarded for the first time in early December. This is also the highest award status of the World Stroke Organization for stroke units and stroke centers, which satisfy strict criteria for shortening time of emergency revascularization, screening for causes, and appropriate stroke prophylaxis.

On the morning of August 5, a free congenital heart disease screening program for children in difficult circumstances was held at Hue Central Hospital. The program was organized by Viettel Thua Thien Hue in collaboration with the Vietnam Heart Fund of Vietnam Television and Hue Central Hospital.

On May 15, Hue Dental Hospital in collaboration with ReSurge International (USA) and professors, doctors from The Buncke Clinic San Francisco organized screening for patients with hand deformities.

After 5 years of preparation, the long-awaited film "Em va Trinh" has just premiered on the evening of June 7 and will be showing nationwide on June 17. Early screenings took place from 19:00 on June 10th.
