On November 28, the Provincial People's Committee organized the Meeting with foreign non-governmental organizations in Thua Thien Hue province in 2024. In attendance at the meeting were Ms. Trinh Thi Mai Phuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Thua Thien Hue, along with Da Nang and Quang Nam, are strengthening cooperation to boost tourism between Vietnam and Australia, particularly by connecting the Australian tourist market with Central Vietnam. By enhancing promotion and advertising of the “Amazing Central Vietnam Heritage” tourism brand in Australia, the goal is to attract visitors from this significant potential market to Central Vietnam in general, and to Hue in particular.

On the morning of March 22, Secretary of Hue city Party Committee Phan Thien Dinh chaired a meeting with the delegation of Shizuoka city - Japan led by Mr. Mochizuki Toshiaki, Chairman of the Shizuoka city Council.

The entire province now has more than 20,000 overseas Vietnamese residing in all continents and territories. Over the past time, overseas Vietnamese throughout the five continents have always turned to their homeland, making an important contribution to the development of the province, the strengthening and tightening of the national unity spirit.

On the morning of August 15, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong received the Ambassador of Thailand to Vietnam, H.E. Nikorndej Balankura, on the occasion of his working visit to Hue.

The Provincial People’s Committee Office informed that the provincial delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh attended the program of promoting trade, investment, and multi-faced cooperation between Vietnam and Kyusshu region in Fukuoka province (which took place from July 25 to 26, 2022).

On the afternoon of March 7, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a meeting with Mr. Antonio Alessandro, Italian Ambassador to Vietnam.
