“I am always worried that time passes by too quickly while I am too slow to do many things for my children and grandchildren in the future”, elder Hanh expressed his concern upon gazing at Truong Son (Annamite) mountain range in the distance. For generations, Pa Co people of his kind have taken refuge at the foot of this mountain range. Seeing the traditional culture of their ancestors gradually fading away over the years makes his heart ache, so he must do everything he can to preserve and conserve the beauty of his people.

This is the goal set by Hue University. Achieving this will not only enhance the role and position of the Institute of Biotechnology in particular and Hue University in general but also the status of the centrally governed city in the coming time. A Roang is a border commune of A Luoi district, which is about 90km away from Hue city center. People living here are mainly the Ta Oi people. Being located at the foot of the majestic Truong Son Mountain, A Roang was once a poor and extremely difficult place to travel to. However, it is now an attractive destination for visitors who love the rustic beauty of people and villages in wild mountains and forests, or immersing themselves in waterfalls and lakes in the middle of mountains and forests.

Along with Bach Ho Bridge, which is a railroad bridge, and Thao Long Bridge, with the architectural structure of a bridge at the top and a dam below to prevent salinity at the bottom, there is a total of seven bridges over the Huong River, namely Truong Tien Bridge, Phu Xuan Bridge, Da Vien Bridge, Tuan Bridge, and Dinh Market Bridge.

While the article about the book "Echoes of the Truong Son" (Thuan Hoa Publishing House, 2023) was being prepared when I included it in the collection of essays "Life's Many Paths" (Writers Association Publishing House, 2023), from Ho Chi Minh City, Mrs. Dam Thu continuously sent touching feedback to Hue about the work that she had just "poured her efforts" into completing.

“Nắng lên rồi cơn nắng tháng Ba. Thắm đỏ lưng trời...” (“The sun is up and it's the March sunshine. It reddens the sky ...”) - it seems that there is hardly any color of sunshine that can be brighter than the one in the days celebrating Hue's liberation, covering the streets from Truong Tien to Dong Ba, from Da Vien to Hen islets.

Prof. Truong Thi Bich Phuong (Faculty of Biology, University of Science, Hue University) started to tell the story about Hue ginger that her research team and she have been diligently researching for the past three years.

Hue has entered the season of mist. It is when walking on the Truong Tien bridge, one suddenly recognizes the city is wrapped in soft floating mist. One stands on the bridge, looking at the river full of milky mist, hearing the sounds of fishermen paddling. Mist lingers among trees and grass in the verdant parks. It is as if the whole city were slowing down and it looks so beautiful like a painting.
